EXAMINATION: FASTING LENGTH / REMARKS

• Fasting Blood Sugar (FBS): 8–10 hours

• Oral Glucose Tolerance Test (OGTT): 8–10 hours

• Lipid Profile: 10–12 hours

• Whole Abdominal Ultrasound: 6 hours / no milk; no fatty foods, no fruits, drink a lot of water, no softdrinks, no coffee

• Upper Abdominal Ultrasound: 6 hours

• Hepatobiliary Ultrasound: 6 hours

• Liver Ultrasound: Light meal; fat-free
